chapter five, beast from the water.
I thought the the opposition between Ralph and Jack, grew tremendously during this chapter. Both characters openly argue consitently through out the chapter. A point that I thought was very important was when Jack made it seem that Ralph could no longer do his job right. His ruse was so good that even Ralph doubted himself, almost giving his position up as chief. Simon as a charater is becoming more and more noticable. I think he shares similar reality linking thoughts like Piggy in a way. The author continues to add stunning details about the Island, and is forming a somewhat mysterious story line, unpredictable in a way. Can’t wait till next chapter!
I think that there were alot less details in this chapter and alot more dialouge and plot. I thought that this made it better, I would like to know how you feel about it. You seem to enjoy the deep descriptions. Please comment back!
